Day 50 Celebration!

We had such fun celebrating our first 50 days of learning and fun together last week! From estimating and measuring with atomic fire balls to bubble blowing contests is was a day to remember!

We enjoyed our guest speaker sharing some special mementos from the 50s!

How many bubbles can you blow in 50 seconds?

How many times can you hula hoop in 50 seconds?

Read to Someone

There couldn't be a better pairing...pajama day and time to read with a buddy!!

We Love Pam!

Pam Holz, our Washington County conservationist, has long been a favorite in the first grade classrooms at WE! We are always excited to share her enthusiasm and passion for the great outdoors. So far this year, she has been in to extend our science learning about plants! She does an awesome job of getting our young learners moving during their learning!

Park Play

Enjoying some well deserved play time at the Wellman North park as part of a school wide PBIS reward!

Jack-O-Lanterns

Last week we put our fine motor skills to the test and created some unique Jack-O-Lantern lanterns! They are helping us to get into the fall spirit!

School House

On Thursday, October 27th, students were able to explore the old one room school house at the top of the hill. This was a fun way to continue to explore the similarities and differences between school today and long ago! Thanks to Mr. A for setting up this learning adventure!
